His desire to paint in unusual places led him to invent a spacious case that could carry everything needed to paint. Its comfortable bag allows it to be easily transported by bike or on foot.
He left the Lépine competition with the Bronze medal of the Lépine Competition and orders from amateurs and professionals full of briefcase!
Yann Jettain is an abstract artist and Franco-Mauritian inventor. His project “The travelers’ briefcase to paint” has just won the Bronze medal at the prestigious Lépine Competition which took place from 23 to 1 November 2021 at Paris Expo.
Why a briefcase? His desire to paint in unusual places led him to invent a spacious case that could carry everything needed to paint. Easy to use, the canvas is attached to the easel so that the fresh paint does not come into contact with the palette thanks to the 2 cm separating them. It can also support a size up to 46cm x 55cm x 2cm. Finally, its comfortable bag allows it to be easily transported by bike or on foot.
“This project combines travel, sport and art. With a view to making art more accessible, this case meets an important need on the part of painters who wish to paint outdoors and those who wish to have a formula. all in one. It also allows you to have your material concentrated in a small space. This case had a considerable echo with children, painting classes and adults during the Lépine Competition. In order to democratize art, this case can become a kind of home computer where everyone, when they want, can use it to make a picture. “
Yann Jettain is looking for partners to produce the case in large quantities but especially with French and eco-responsible materials.
